The Wild Edge of Sorrow:

Rituals of Renewal and the Sacred Work of Grief

The Wild Edge of Sorrow: A 5-Week Virtual Book Club
Join me for a gentle, soul-centered exploration of The Wild Edge of Sorrow by Francis Weller. This 5-week virtual book club invites you into a supportive community space to reflect on grief, loss, and the sacred invitation of sorrow. Each 90-minute session includes coming together in community for group discussion, a guided meditation, and movement to help integrate the week’s themes. Together, we’ll explore how grief can become a portal to deeper connection, healing, and joy.

September 22, 2027 @ 7pm MST

For just $12 a week—less than your weekly coffee run—you can join us for movement, meaningful connection, and practical tools to help you navigate grief.

Space is limited so we can keep the group intentionally small and create room for genuine connection.

Investment: $60

We want this book club to be accessible to everyone. If cost is a hardship but you feel called to join us, please reach out—scholarships are available.

~Book Reviews

“I loved this book. I first came across Francis Weller when he was interviewed in the Oct 2015 issue of The Sun. He brings a lot of wisdom and truth to the topic of grief, which was balm to my spirit as a hospital chaplain. He talks about the importance of metabolizing our grief, particularly in community. "We need to create circles of welcome in our lives in order to keep leaning into the world; to keep moving grief through our psyches and bodies, so we can taste the sweetness of life." (p. 14). I also deeply appreciate the ways he draws on so many poets. Good stuff.” ~ John Larabee ~ goodReads

“Just finished reading a third time (although this time it was the audio version). Phenomenal. I think I will make a commitment to read this at least once a year.” ~ Katie Allen ~ goodReads
